It's a time for giving

The Salvation Army was found in 1865 in East End of London by William Booth. This organization was created as a way to help the poor and preach the Gospel. The good works continued after Williams’ death, through his family, and soon crossed over to hundreds of other Countries with the goal of helping those in need.

From disaster reliefs to teaching kids, the Salvation is known for giving back to it’s community in every way possible.

After attending a Salvation Army Luncheon on November 8th, sponsored by Tanimura and Antle and Mission Linnens, we learned a lot about what the organization does for people and how they help in giving back to our communities.

As a result, The Wharf Marketplace has decided to help in spreading Christmas cheer to kids who could use some extra love by hosting a toy drive from December 1st – December 16th.

Rules:
Please bring new, unopened toys.
Make sure they are age appropriate
