Château Julien

TASTE IT THURSDAY featuring: Château Julien

Caitlin Antle September 17, 2015

September 17th, 2015 @ 4:30 PM - TASTE IT THURSDAY featuring: Château Julien

ABOUT CHATEAU JULIEN: As one of the oldest wineries in Monterey County, surpassing thirty-three years in business there continues to be something special about family history and the environment it creates. Château Julien has had the same winemaker (Bill Anderson) since the Estate's inaugural vintage in 1982 allowing each wine to be consistent in both pricing and quality. The pride behind the wines is distinctive as each wine the Brower Family produces has something unique about it, making them different then many mainstream brands. The Brower family operates with one main goal, to produce wines for which customers will keep coming back.

ALL 9 LIBERATED BOTTLES

Taste It Thursday - Liberated Wines

Caitlin Antle September 10, 2015

September 10th, 2015 @ 4:30 PM - TASTE IT THURSDAY featuring: Liberated Wines + Blade Tech Knife Sharpening

ABOUT LIBERATED: We created Liberated Wine to inspire us to take chances, go outside our comfort zone and to burst through the boundaries of tradition. Liberated is a collection of wines that personifies individuals who break the boundaries constraining them from unlimited potential. This emotion is expressed in 3 different label renditions for each varietal.

Collect all 9 bottles!

Liberated features 3 delicious wines, crafted to transform traditional winemaking trends - a Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon, a Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc, and a Monterey Pinot Noir.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2012 Sonoma County

Liberated from the Cabernet Sauvignon trend of aggressive tannins and stewed fruits, this wine exhibits notes of black cherry and currant. Soft and rich on the palate, with great structure due to a minimalist regime of new French Oak.

PINOT NOIR 2013 Monterey

Liberated from the Pinot Noir trend of overly ripe fruit and high alcohol, this wine exhibits balance with bright fruit combined with the earthiness of tea leaf. Hints of Bing cherry, cranberry and spice.

SAUVIGNON BLANC 2014 Sonoma County

Liberated from the Sauvignon Blanc trend of overly ripe fruit and lower acid, this stainless steel fermented wine is bright and citrus-driven with elements of passion fruit, lime and kiwi.

MISSION TRAIL CIDER

Taste It Thursday...and It's a good one!

Caitlin Antle September 2, 2015

September 3rd, 2015 @ 4:30 PM - TASTE IT THURSDAY featuring: Mission Trail Cider + Mad Otter Ale + Wrath Wines all will be tasting right here at TWM

Mission Trail Cider, Bradley, CA - Growing up in the vineyards of Sonoma County and surrounded by the entrepreneurial wine making spirit from birth, Monte and Victor Jones had farming, and wine making in their blood. After growing up on the historic El Camino Real, they both left to pursue different careers; Monte as an Army Cavalry Officer and on to business school, Victor to Austin, Texas where he hand-built some of the most recognizable bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. The brothers, realizing that something was missing, made their way back to the mission trail and began developing their own vineyard and orchards down the road from Mission San Antonio in Southern Monterey County.

Mad Otter Ale, Monterey, CA - Our story of Monterey Bay Brewing Company began at the Mammoth Mountain Blues and Brews festival. Mark camped and went to the two day event and experienced how everyone was going Mad over craft beer. Scott and Mark went the next year as well and this is when they knew they wanted to bring this kind of energy and excitement for craft beer to Monterey. Scott and Mark started to homebrew out of their kitchens and it was one early evening on the golf course that the name Mad Otter Ale sprang into Mark’s head and from that point on we knew we had something special.

Wrath Wines, Santa Lucia Highlands, CA - Wrath produces site-driven Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Sauvignon Blanc from our estate vineyard and respected properties in the Santa Lucia Highlands. Our production is small, our distribution is limited and our wines reveal attitude, passion, and an inherent respect for what a vineyard can give us.
